Abstract

Si se revisa la lista de Beneméritos de Nuevo León nombrados por el Congreso del Estado, libro de Héctor Franco Sáenz (2011), se verá que el ensayista los divide en Beneméritos del Estado, de la Educación y de la Cultura, siete, nueve y uno, respectivamente. El libro fue publicado antes de que se nombrara a Israel Cavazos Garza, quien falleció en noviembre de 2016, en la última categoría.
